So… The time is 3:53 AM. At 5:45 AM. I need to be at the DuPont Country Club to set up for a meeting. I won’t be staying. I will be driving back down to Camden. DE to help Polytech out. They’re having problems. If all goes well. that might mean I can come back home early. In any case. I need to leave here at about 5 AM. which is in an hour. I came home from work today (yesterday?) and slept since I had to get up at 6:00 AM. So. needless to say. right now. I am not tired at all. I tried sleeping. but I think waiting/trying to fall asleep is probably the most annoying thing I have to do every day. Sometimes. a ridiculously hard day of work (like Monday) is good… because I can come home and crash… It’s beautiful to lay down in bed. and fall asleep almost instantly. Then. you can wake up and say to yourself. "Yeah. I needed that."
And since Katie pointed out that I haven’t posted since the 10th. I figured I would: a) post. b) take a shower. c) make some coffee. d) maybe clean up my room a little. I haven’t started on that last one yet.
I’m kind of in the mood for some kind of breakfast food. Hey. that rhymes! Maybe I’ll drive thru McDonalds for a little treat. Mmm. I just had a slight college flashback of making 3 AM McDonalds runs for McGriddles. Sometimes. we’d be up at 3 AM doing stuff. Other times. we’d stay up just for that.
I bought The Sword In The Stone on DVD the other day. I probably hadn’t watched it in 16 years or so. I didn’t realize that Merlin always saw into the future and made references to electricity. plumbing. airplanes. movies. and television. I guess I didn’t have a concept of the time period the movie was supposed to take place! I also love Archimedes. Everytime he says. "Whoo? What what!?" I crack up.
I also just remembered that I have about 3 or 4 new CDs ripped onto my computer but haven’t sync’d them to my iPod yet. Quite frankly. I don’t feel like doing it now either.
Now. I’ll go see if my coffee is done. Have a great day everyone (all 5 of you that probably read this)!
