Christmas Madness

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

Yeah, I had some Christmas gifts to get still. So Dex and I ventured to Moe’s Southwest Grill for burritos, then stopped at Target, Best Buy, The Concord Mall, CompUSA, and Borders. It wasn’t too bad actually. I got in and out of stores pretty quickly. The problem was traffic around the mall due to idiot drivers and the mall having inadequate parking space for the volume of people in the mall. Anyways, time for gift wrapping!

Almost There…

Work, Sleep, Repeat

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

Yeah I just worked a 12 hour day, and I’m beat. Watching The Simpsons Movie again, then crashing for the night.

I just thought you should know…

The Simpsons Movie on Blu-ray is amazing. That’s all for today.

Mmmmm….

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

Well, Christmas is next week, and I have no idea if I am ready or not… but anyways… I’m going to go watch Stardust on HD-DVD. So long for now!

HP in HD.

Happy Monday! Actually, forget I said that… Mondays are probably my least favorite weekday. To make up for this, I picked up the Harry Potter years 1-5 HD-DVD set at Best Buy today. I really just wanted the latest movie, but it’s kind of silly to get just Order of the Phoenix on HD-DVD (or Blu-ray for that matter) for a little more than $20, when you can get all five movies plus a lot of extras for about $100. Anyways, the movie is pretty good, and I can’t believe there’s over 2 years before the last of them is out. Oh well.

Tomorrow is a big movie day for me, as Stardust, The Simpsons, and Once all come out tomorrow. Yayy.

Clips: Watch 3000 Barrels Fall Down In Crysis

I saw Alvin and the Chipmunks today with Rod and Chris. It was pretty awesome as far as simple entertainment goes. As far as movie making goes, it kind of seemed like the charm was all spent in the first third of the movie and then it was just an occasional laugh until the end. Anyways, it was nice seeing The Chipmunks again… Did anyone else notice that Dave’s house number was 1958? That’s the year the original Chipmunks were born. Why I know this is beyond me.

Anyways, I’m tired. Real tired.

Weekend of sleep awaits

Friday, December 14th, 2007

I just got home from some install work. Needless to say, I’m pretty exhausted and ready for bed. I got some Taco Bell on the way home, and I must say, Baja Steak Chalupas are might good, especially when you’re hungry.

Good night!

Sleep Awaits…

Friday, December 14th, 2007

So, I was supposed to go to bed, but instead I watched The Nanny Diaries, which was pretty good… Much better than I expected it to be. In any case, I just noticed that I just watched both of Alecia Keys’ feature films in the same day coincidentally. She won’t be leading in any roles soon, but she didn’t strike me as a musician-turned-actress at all.
