What a day…

I’ve had a nasty sore throat for a couple days now… and it’s getting worse. I have a decently high tolerance for pain.. and the only thing I’ve done for it is take some DayQuill which seems to work a bit. I think I just need sleep, which hasn’t been easy lately.

I ran sound for this Resapalooza gig at University of Delaware today. At some point setting up, I slammed my left shin into something… a roadcase maybe, and it left a nasty bruise and cut on my leg through my pants. It hurts! Actually, it stung real bad for an hour after it happened.

The gig went pretty OK, besides ending late. It rained lightly for most of it.

I’m home now. My throat still feels like I swallowed sand paper. I got myself a Blue Moon, which is doing wonders.

Anyways, I’m going to sleep.. and I don’t plan on waking up until 10 AM at the earliest.

.. of blogging! Well, let me clarify. I’ve had this blog since 2004. However, I decided a year ago I’d post at least something every day for a year… Well, 2008 being a leap year and all, I posted 440 posts in the past 366 days. This will be post 441. Anyways, it was quite a challenge. We’ll see what happens next. I think I’m done posting every day for a while. Instead, I’ll just post when I have something worth saying.

I’ve got to work tomorrow in prep for Monday. I need a nap too.

Well, it’s almost midnight and I almost forgot to post!

I worked till 6:45 PM today and have to be at the shop at 6:30 AM tomorrow. Eww. I’ll be working all weekend. Blah. So, I’m going to bed.

BTW – It appears that tomorrow’s post will complete my year of blogging. I didn’t figure that out until just now.

I had a service call in Reading, PA today.. It would’ve been a nice, easy 90 minute drive each way, but stupid traffic and construction complicated that. I’m eating dinner now and will soon be sleeping. I’ve got a hell of a weekend coming up.

That’s all I have to say about that.

I got home at a reasonable hour today. I’m going to watch Closer and who knows what after that. I might attempt to get my Flickr plug-on working on here.

I did nothing today.. except sleep. Sounds like a pretty successful Sunday.

That means I probably won’t get to write later… and I don’t have anything interesting to say anyways. So, I’m going to take a nap before work.

I’m waiting for this show to start. I’ve been working since 8 AM this morning and will be until about 10 PM tonight. I’m beat.

Yeah I’m stuck at University of Delaware until 9 PM tonight.. After that I might just go home and sleep… only to return here tomorrow.
